"Fear breads a deadening caution, a holding back, a stagnant waiting until people no longer can recall what they are waiting for or saving themselves for. When we fear failure more than we love life; when we are dominated by thoughts of what we might have been rather than by thoughts of what we might become; when we are haunted by the disparity between our ideal self and our real self; when we are tormented by guilt, shame, remorse, and self-condemnation, we deny our faith in the God of love." Starting my personal blog today with LT Engine

Welcome to my blog.
I'm using this a tool to communicate with family and friends about my mission as a PA-C with my ETT in Afghanistan. So, follow along and I'll update this beast as I can with what I can.
I got my orders about 3 months ago and now here I am in lovey Ft Riley, KS prepping to depart with a 16 man team to an all expense paid vacation to the mountains of Afghanistan. Hooah!!
All are interesting characters and all bring much experience of whatever background to our team. Most of all, it appears that all of us are extremely dedicated to the cause of our mission and more so dedicated to coming home to our families. All of my members will have character names when discussing what I deem to be sensitive issues, otherwise I'll name them to give them credit for outstanding work!!
I'm looking forward to sharing my experience with my family, friends, soldiers and my medical counterparts that may be following me after my return to the states.
